The article offers a new perspective on the comprehensive assessment of police officers' physical fitness as a harmonious combination of strength, endurance, speed, coordination and flexibility, focused on real-world tasks such as patrolling, detentions and working in equipment, going beyond simple standards to a multi-level process taking into account the cardiovascular system and psychophysiological stability. The basic criteria and the evolution from traditional tests to functional diagnostics are revealed, emphasizing the connection of physical indicators with professional effectiveness. An in-depth analysis of the problems reveals fragmented methods, subjectivity due to conditions and instructors, low frequency of inspections, disregard for individual factors and weak integration of psychophysiology, leading to the illusion of readiness, risks of injury and bureaucratization. Solutions are justified through digital platforms with biometrics, scenario tests, personalization of profiles and frequent checkpoints for objective tracking of dynamics. Innovations include AI video analysis, VR simulations for extreme conditions, cortisol biomarkers, and predictive machine learning analytics for motivation and prevention, increasing police readiness for service calls.
