Full assessment of pear varieties in southern forest-steppe of Omsk oblast

The research made in the laboratory of the experimental field of the chair of horticulture and Botany of Omsk State Agrarian University in 2009-2010 resulted in study of the set of economically valuable features and properties of 8 zoned and promising pear varieties planted in 1991 according to the summing up 100 point scale for index and quantity estimation in the region. The valuable varieties which scored 68-80 points are Severyanka, Vnuchka, Somovskaya, Svarog, Sibiryachka, Zolushka, Urozhainiy Gense. The most valuable variety is a zoned variety Veselinka (83 points).
