The integrated comparative evaluation of Russian oil and gas companies

The article deals with the relevance of the comparative evaluation of oil and gas companies. The possibility of comparison within independent segments or functional areas followed by consolidation of the results is justified. The methodological techniques of selection and formalization of targets and their division into stimulants and disincentives are presented. The author introduces a set of advised indicators for inclusion into the target models of extraction and processing segments evaluation. The results of tested calculations of some Russian oil and gas companies are presented. The author provides guidelines for application of the original approach, and designates the areas for further development of the methodological bases.
