Kohler's disease II complex treatment using high intensive laser irradiation in case of distraction

This study is devoted to the problem of Köhler's disease II treatment in children. 32 children with this disease were treated in our clinic. All children treatment was started in 2-4 stage of the disease. Treatment efficiency was estimated according to the findings of ultrasound osteometry by absolute method, that allowed to determine bone tissue density at the affection area before and after treatment. Ultra-sound wave rate increased on lesion side in all children according to Doppler examination. Laser osteo-perforation method was used to improve the blood flow at the affected head of metatarsal bone Osteo-perforation was performed in metatarsophalangeal joint distraction. Laser osteo-perforation use accelerates reparative processes in bone tissue that contribute to metatarsal bone head structure and form and also allows to shorten these patients treatment period.
