Multimodality treatment of the patient with disseminated skin melanoma

A case of favorable treatment of the patient with disseminated skin melanoma has been presented. The patient was treated with the diagnosis of skin melanoma of the left shoulder with metastases in axillary lymph nodes, right ovary, low lobe of the right lung, soft tissues of the anterior chest and parietal lobe of the brain on the right side. Combined modality treatment including chemotherapy, radiation therapy and surgery has been shown to be advisable. Combination of systemic and local approaches to treatment of disseminated skin melanoma results in life prolongation of the patient (11 years since making diagnosis).
