Comprehensive studies of bulk soil dam

Бесплатный доступ

The article presents the results of complex studies of the bulk ground dam, including field geophysical (georadar and seismic) subsurface scans, and computer 3D simulation of its current and predicted hydrogeomechanical state. The complex geophysical field studies specify the structure of the soils that form the dam, the parameters of their physical and mechanical properties, the degree of their water saturation and the position in the dam body of the depression surface of the filtering waters, as well as the zones of increased filtration have been identified and localized. Computer 3D modeling examined the hydrogeomechanical state of the dam and revealed trends in its change due to the increase of water (flood waters) in the river and the development of the filtration zone.
