The number of cases of prolonged wound healing and postoperative complications, and in some cases the transition of an acute process to a chronic one, indicate the unresolved problem of post-traumatic regeneration of damaged animal tissues. To increase the pharmacological protection of the animal body, it is necessary to approach the use of antibacterial agents with a high degree of responsibility, take into account the possibility of risk of post-traumatic septic complications, taking into account the level of surgical treatment of wounds, its duration, contamination of wounds by microorganisms and their general contamination, as well as the initial state of the animal's body. The aim of the study is to eliminate existing disadvantages in the treatment of spontaneous and postoperative wounds in animals by a broader combination of antimicrobials in a complex powder for external use. A new complex antibacterial powder for external use relates to veterinary medicine, namely, to the treatment of animals with wounds. The use of a complex antibacterial powder (in the proposed composition) for external use in veterinary medicine is most effective in the treatment of spontaneous and postoperative wounds in animals of different species, and reduces the development of purulent processes in dog wounds by 11.1% compared with the control.
