The comprehensive investment project as a basis formation modern economic system

The paper summarizes the experience of research work in the field of investment design and the formation of cost-effective processes for its implementation. On this basis, the principal provisions of an innovation-oriented economic system have been developed, the key element of which should be a comprehensive investment project. The authors propose an investment option for the development of an innovative economic system, formulate requirements for it, list the main characteristics of a complex investment project and its varieties, and give the features of building a business plan and a financial plan for the project.
