The article dwells upon the unique mount part's kit of vakidzashi small sword, used in Japan by samurai social layer representatives. Parts of the mount kit are decorated in laconic style. Mount kit is now a part of the private collection in Beijing (P. R. C.). Fixed on a wooden blade model, mount parts demonstrate the traditional method of separate storaging a blade and it's mount. Metal parts of the mount made from iron, bronze, copper and have small gold plated parts. Such traditional sword mounts have been prodused in Japan in XVIII-XIX centuries for a daily use with other weapon of samurai arms and armour complex.
