Components of structural changes in the economy

The article is aimed at developing an approach to determine the boundaries of structural changes in the economic system based on identifying the necessary characteristics and checking their presence both by expert means and by assessing the quantitative values of profile indicators over time. We have proposed an approach to identifying four necessary signs of a structural shift: technological, investment, behavioral and cognitive, and provided a systematization of data on three cases of practical application at the micro level. Such an addition to existing methodological approaches will not only allow a more systematic approach to the development of research programs in this area, but will also create the basis for deepening existing knowledge.
