Types of kinematics of CNC milling machines

This article discusses the main design solutions used in the design of CNC milling machines. Their brief description, purpose, key differences and areas of application, as well as advantages and disadvantages are given. The authors propose the development of a new CNC milling machine equipped with a lifting table and on which the possibility of changing working bodies will be realized, allowing not only machining, but also 3D printing.
