Conception of “gender fight” by Johan August Strindberg (1849-1913) in the literary context

The article deals with the gender issue of the plays of Strindberg in the aspect of the civilizational changes of the society coming to the breakdown of the traditional values. There is analysed the position of the world speculative emphasises of Strindberg in the context of the comprehension of the “women issue” and gender fight. There are defined the sources and reception of the semantic conclusions of Strindberg about the issues of feminism and women's role.
