The concept of power generating facade systems

This topic is devoted to the urgent problem of today to improve energy efficiency architecture. The article describes the facade system, which uses a direct piezoelectric effect and a power generating structure. We consider this technology, given the development of the project, identified the realized projects with the potential of art and receive a classification depending on the version of facade elements and design solutions. Considered façade system not only has high energy efficiency, but also adds to the architectural structures of the dynamics, and the unusual expression against a background of static objects.
