The article is devoted to the concept of "electronic" investigative actions. Considering the specifics of verbal and nonverbal investigative actions, it is concluded that it is necessary to supplement this classification with another specific type-conventionally called "electronic" investigative actions. When analyzing electronic information and" electronic" investigative actions from the point of view of the theory of reflection, it is concluded that in this case it is necessary to supplement the theory of reflection with the concept of a new reflection - transformed using digital-analog conversion. In the course of such a transformation, the primary reflection, which is not perceived by the human senses, is transformed into a different form, accessible to the human receptors. The article analyzes the methods of cognition in the considered category of investigative actions, the specifics of information objects and their material carriers. The author also provides recommendations on the need to supplement the Code of Criminal Procedure with "electronic" investigative actions: inspection of an electronic object and control of electronic mail and their copying.
