The concept of cultural diversity by Georgy D. Gachev

The article describes the content and essence of the concept for studying the ethnic cultures, created by the well-known Russian philosopher and literary critic George Gachev. Culture as a spiritual phenomenon relates to the historical memory of the people, that stores, transmits (passes from generation to generation) and generates the positive programs of activities, behavior and communication between people. Each national identity fixed the existential definitions of social and cultural self-development of the peoples. An ethnic culture is not directly based on the general social conditions, but is directly dependent on the ability of the people, inhabiting a geographic region.
