The article analyses the conception of culture in the German Neo-Kantianism. This conception has its origin in the works of the German philosopher Immanuel Kant and develops in two schools - Marburg (H. Cohen, E. Cassirer) and Baden (W. Windelband, H. Rickert). The author examines specific features and characteristics of each school and emphasizes that representatives of neo-Kantianism offered their own version of designing of a philosophical conception of culture and made great contribution to the science of culture.
