The concept of talent management in the practice of organizations: key problems and solutions

The human resource is a key resource of organizations in the modern world. Talented employees are especially valuable to organizations, because the success of organizations in the future depends on them. In this article, the definition of "talent" is proposed, the differences between two types of talents (Hi-Po and Hi-Pro) are outlined, the advantages of attracting Hi-Po talents are reflected, approaches to talent management are systematized, and a talent management model is proposed. The paper also analyzes the experience of talent management in Russian and foreign companies, on the basis of which a detailed description of leadership programs in the practice of talent management is presented. A number of problems that organizations may face when implementing a talent management system are formulated and ways to solve these problems are proposed. The main result of this work is a reflection of the role of leadership programs as a tool for comprehensively solving the problems of Hi-Po talent management in organizations.
