The concept of sustainable development of glamping based on the integrated model of ESG principles: ecological and economic aspects and mechanisms of social impact

This article is devoted to the study of the conceptual foundations of the sustainable development of glamping based on the integrated model of ESG criteria. Glamping is an innovative form of recreation that combines the comfort of a hotel stay, combining the comfort of a hotel level with proximity to nature. However, clear principles and performance evaluation criteria are needed to ensure long-term success and minimize negative impacts on the environment and local communities. The article examines three key aspects of sustainable development: 1. Environmental: conservation of natural resources, minimization of the carbon footprint and the introduction of green technologies. 2. Social: supporting local communities, creating jobs, and improving the quality of life of the region’s population. 3. Corporate governance: transparency of business processes, responsibility to investors and stakeholders, ethical business conduct. The experience of successful glamping projects implementing ESG practices is analyzed, and the main problems and barriers preventing the widespread adoption of such approaches are identified. Recommendations are offered on the development and implementation of effective models of sustainable glamping development, taking into account the peculiarities of the Russian market and the specifics of environmental protection zones. The purpose of the study is to form a theoretical and methodological basis for the development of recommendations for the creation of environmentally responsible, socially significant and economically beneficial glamping projects that promote the development of domestic tourism and the preservation of the environment. The findings are important for investors, developers of tourist facilities, government agencies and public organizations involved in the development of recreation and tourism infrastructure in Russia.
