The Concept of "Soft Power": Specific Interpretation and Tasks in Contemporary Political Discourse

The article analyzes "soft power" tasks under the conditions of increasing international aggression and crisis of diplomatic services. We have substantiated the significant role of organized soft power in achieving foreign policy goals without resorting to military force, and considered its tasks from the perspectives of force, influence, technology, communication, constructivist, instrumental, and resource-based approaches. An analysis of the current political picture has allowed us to propose the examples of soft power forms. It is emphasized the importance of developing interstate peaceful constructive dialogue based on soft power resources.
