The concept of “bride” in the language pictures of the world of representatives of different cultures and its significance for Russian as a foreign language teaching

This article is devoted to the study of the concept of “bride” in modern language pictures of the world of different nations. To achieve this goal, we conducted an anonymous survey, in which more than 400 respondents from Russia, Italy, China and Ghana took part. The article presents the results of the survey and their analysis, identifies some national features and current trends in the field of family life of representatives of these cultures, and also offers some methodological recommendations for a Russian as a foreign language teacher working with students from these countries.
