The concept of patriotism in the modern ideological space of Russia

The article analyzes modern Russian and foreign approaches to the study of ideology. The modern understanding of ideology is closely connected with the concepts of communication, identity, and legitimacy of power. The author analyzes assessments of the influence of ideology on other spheres of society and concludes that it was advisable to carry out the weighting coefficients of the significance of the factors of social phenomena considering the specific historical situation. Digital technologies allow researchers to analyze big data by the ideological preferences of users. The paper analyzes theoretical approaches of Russian researchers to the modern understanding of the concept of patriotism. The author concludes that the modern official discourse, not framed in the form of any specific ideology, bases on the concept of patriotism. Based on the data of the IA Regnum study of the attitude of public opinion leaders to the special military operation, the author concludes that the results obtained reflect the results of the confrontation of patriotic and neoliberal ideological discourses.
