The concept of "family" in the linguistic worldview of the junior school pupils

The article explores the specifics of the linguistic world of the junior school pupils, identified on the basis of the concept of «family» - one of the key concepts of the Russian linguistic worldview. The study of children's linguistic world is a fairly new trend in modern science, prepared by the works of psychologists (K. Buhler, V. Stern, J. Piaget and others) and psycholinguists (L.S. Vygotsky, A.R. Luria, A.N. Leontiev et al.). The paper summarizes the main aspects of modern studies on the Russian concept of «family» and considers at the results of an associative experiment conducted in the 3rd grade of general education boarding school No. 1 named after V.P. Sinyakov in Krasnoyarsk in 2018. The results of the study are compared with the findings of a similar experiment by I.V. Garmash (Taganrog, 2016), as well as the materials of the Russian associative dictionaries. We found that the concepts of «family» in children and adults differ in volume, structure and nature of assessment.
