The concept of conscience in Russian proverbs and sayings

The article deals with the problem of studying the concept of conscience on the material of Russian Proverbs and sayings. Analyzed Proverbs and sayings about conscience. It is established that the concept "conscience" is one of the basic linguistic and cultural concepts of ethical concept sphere of the Russian. The relevance of the study is determined by the need to further develop the problem of interrelation between language, human consciousness and culture, and the lack of systematic description of the ethical concepts of social responsibility in Russian linguistic culture.
