Conceptual understanding of the psychology of architecture on the example of the development of bedroom neighborhoods

The article is devoted to the consideration of psychology of modern architecture, in particular the architecture of bedroom neighborhoods. The text raises the question of psycho-emotional, as well as artistic and aesthetic influence of the form of an architectural structure on the public psyche of an individual. Turning to classical studies of the psychology of art, especially to the works of Lev Semyonovich Vygotsky, as well as to the work of Johannes Itten, a Swiss artist, researcher of color in art and Bauhaus teacher, we synthesize the key ideas of each field of scientific knowledge in order to derive a qualitatively new theory of the psychology of architecture and prove its viability on the examples of modern high-rise buildings.
