The conceptual bases for tourist destinations development in Zaporizhzhya oblast

Regional development is a task that is solved by a set of management tools. Today, regions such as the Zaporizhzhya region are in the zone of a special military operation and bear the corresponding costs from this. But this situation raises the question of how to properly organize the procedure for socio-economic recovery, and then the development of the region. The scientific discourse has formed an approach to the formation of a tourist and recreational cluster, which includes a tourist destination. The author analyzes theoretical approaches to the interpretation of this category, based on which the mechanisms of the functioning of the management system to form an attractive region are most clearly manifested. During theoretical research, the author compares the concepts of territory marketing, sustainable development, tourist cluster and tourist destination. The subject area of research, despite the narrow regional specifics, is very wide. According to the author of the study, the socio-economic possibilities of the tourism industry in matters of regional development, including crisis subsidized regions, have not been fully studied. The result of this study is the justification of the unity of environmental, economic and cultural and leisure factors to increase the attractiveness of the region and build a successful tourist infrastructure. The results of the theoretical study will be useful not only for educational and methodological support, but also as a theoretical basis for further research and the prospect of developing practical recommendations. A specific region that affects research despite external adverse factors is promising.
