The article considers the characteristics of ethnic crime, common and particular features of this phenomenon. The scientific views of modern legal scholars in regard to definition of the concept «ethnic crime» as well as the author’s definition are presented in the article. The main determinants that cause ethniccrime are identified and analyzed by the author.
