Conceptual issues of the political and legal definition of conservatism

This article discusses the conceptual complexity in political and legal defining the ideological doctrine of conservatism. The authors make particular reference to the determination of the main principles and foundations of conservatism. It is concluded that due to the contextual dependence of the content of conservatism on a particular value tradition, its universal definition is fundamentally impossible, and it is inevitably of a nomadic nature.
