The concepts of "grammatology" as the mechanisms of literary text interpretation

The article examines the concepts created by Jacques Derrida within his «grammatology» project and analyzes the prospects of their use in revealing how literary texts function in the reader’s reception. At first, the author compares the «traditional» approach to textual interpretation with the «poststructuralist» one, then reviews Jacques Derrida’s work «Of Grammatology», and after that consecutively examines the concepts of grammatology, namely, deconstruction, Differance, Supplement, trace, ecriture, while discussing the possibilities of their application to the interpretation of literary texts.
