The article considers the place and meaning of poetic concepts “Word” and “Love” in the works of N. Gumilev, reveals their axiological essence, explores their connection with the aesthetics of the Russian culture of the Silver age. The function of these con cepts is seen in the fact that they set values for the entire conceptual sphere of the poet and determine its architectonics.
