Condensation of aminoazobenzene derivatives with substituted benzaldehyde

Azomethine compounds in the form of orange and dark red solids were synthesized by condensation of aminoazobenzene derivatives with 4-bromo-3-nitrobenzaldehyde. Product yields and melting points were determined. Data characterizing the infrared and electronic spectra of the compounds were obtained. Biological activity was predicted on the PASS Online Internet platform, and a conclusion was made based on the results on the prospects of the synthesized azomethine compounds.
