The conflict of constitutional values in the theory and practice of constitutional justice in Russia

The author analyzes the scientific approaches to the content of the concept of «constitutional value», and proposes a new definition, as well as the classification of values. The article concluded that in recent years there has been a serious imbalance between the interests of the individual and a certain "common good" or public interest. The Constitutional Court of Russia has unequivocally taken up the position of priority protection of the interests or values of the state, which are often represented as public interest in the protection of individual values.
