The article reviews judgements of Russian pedagogues of XIX - mid XX centuries on the conflict of pedagogical interaction between the teacher and the pupil; the article presents the notional analog of conflict; it justifies the possibility of transferring pedagogical ideas on pedagogical interaction conflict between the teacher and the pupil while transferring from one epoch to another.
