The paradigm of conflict in studying the relations of «centre - background» system

The article presents a review of different approaches and concepts used as a basis of Russian Empire formation and transformation. The value of conflict paradigm in the system "Centre- background" is actualized with concrete historic examples (especially, national, ethnic territories), the author also analyses preconditions of social subjects conflicts, including main conflict vectors in relations of Russian Imperial centre and background.
