The article examines price and non-price determinants that determine the dynamics of the labor market, paying attention to the assessment of the elasticity of demand and supply of labor in relation to wages, as well as the analysis of the relationship between the levels of vacancies and unemployment. Based on empirical data from the Republic of Bashkortostan, the features of the regional labor market, possible causes and conse-quences of such a situation for employees, employers and the economy of the region as a whole have been iden-tified. A set of measures for state and corporate regulation of the labor market in conditions of labor shortage is proposed, structured in accordance with the phases of labor reproduction: formation, distribution and use. The conclusion is made about the need for an integrated approach combining the efforts of government and corporate regulation at all stages to overcome imbalances in the labor market.
