The task of any higher education institution is to graduate good professionals who are needed by the government, society and modern business. In order to train highly skilled human resources from both fundamental and practical points of view, universities compete with each other by providing unique services, determining market trends and meeting customer preferences. By using the Michael Porter’s Competitive Forces Model the analysis of the competition level has been carried out on the educational service market on the basis of three parameters. Changes in world economy and technologies, as well as undertaking scientific researches - all these constitute an opportunity for the universities to establish their market niche in the coming decades.
