Competitive import substitution as the imperative of development of agrarian and industrial complex in the conditions of economic sanctions

In this article it is substantiated that implemented in Russia the policy of import substitution implies the need to develop the competitive capacity of domestic production. Taking into consideration the tasks of the provision of food security in the face of increasing external threats at the implementation of modernisation projects of import substitution in agriculture are needed. For the regions of Southern Russia the development of agriculture is of special importance because they form the economic profile of the industry of the agro-industrial specialization. With the agricultural sphere of the region the prospects of the increase of the food supply security of the national economy are linked.
