The competitiveness of firms is an important issue for Russian society, as it lays the foundations for the competitiveness and safety of the whole country. A study of the social factors of competitiveness allows us to form more effective management systems and improve the quality of products (services) of enterprises. However, today, the problems of competitiveness are mainly dealt with by specialists in the field of economics, a sociological analysis of these problems is clearly not enough. At the same time, “competition” and “competitiveness” are important social phenomena that influence the formation of management systems, managerial and economic culture, social stratification, the formation of norms and institutions.
