Competitiveness of the economic subjects and economy of knowledge

A study of the competitive advantages of a firm genesis which results showed that its vector of development headed for accretion of the intellectual component is presented in the article. It made possible to word a decision on essential part of the economy of knowledge in the increase of any economic subject competitiveness. An outline of economic knowledge is given in the article, analysis of approaches to its assessment is carried out and pertaining to the author's method of assessment of economy of knowledge development in regions based on enunciated assumptions is offered. The method is implicated by means of the cluster analysis. In the outcome all the RF regions are grouped according to their size and ratio of demand and supply of knowledge values and analysis of the singled out clusters is carried out.
