Competitiveness of university graduates through the lens of employers

The competitiveness of university graduates on the labor market has always been quite an urgent problem, but today in the conditions of a down economy and growing unemployment it becomes aggravated. Subsequently the requirements for training young specialists in terms of developing competences that form competitiveness are toughened. The study of the stated problem is based on a generalization of the opinions of Irkutsk employers. While working out the tools and data processing we have paid particular attention to competencies that develop the competitiveness of graduates. The obtained results allow us to correct the previously pre­sented scheme for forming university graduates' competitiveness, which reflect the factors influencing the development of professional, personal and business competencies.
