Conservative assessment of the functioning of the obturation node of a gas dynamic pulse system based on a statistical approach

A statistical approach to the design of the obturation node of gas-dynamic pulse systems has been developed, taking into account the uncertainties caused by the variations in the properties of the materials of its elements, size deviations, stochastic loads and errors of the software and mathematical apparatus. The approach is based on a strict mathematical justification of the probability of failure of the designed obturation unit, which allows us to give a conservative assessment of its reliability with a minimum number of calculations.
