The article analyzes the evolution of F.M. Dostoevskys conservative-philosophical views. Adhering to revolutionary views in his youth, in adulthood Dostoevsky becomes a sharp opponent of these ideas, denying the status of the only possible way to change existing living conditions. At the same time, the transformation of the writers personal value orientations is accompanied by the liberalization of society during the reforms of the 1860-70s, which led Dostoevsky to certain conservative-philosophical views. He puts his thoughts into a religious and moral worldview, seeing in them the perfection of personality. Dostoevskys conservative philosophy was expressed in monarchical ideas, of which he was a supporter all his life.
