Conservative dimension of the vector of cultural policy

The State cultural policy, according to the authors, should provide a vector for the development of civil society and the state. Considering the cultural policy of the state, it is necessary to determine its ideological component, which, in turn, is itself part of the sphere of culture. The core of the new state cultural policy is the assertion of the central position of culture as a system forming factor in the development of society, and the ideology is the concept of conservative realism, which can provide a basis for overcoming modern gaps and crises, to ensure a unified cultural space of the country and the civil identity of the multinational people. Since the actual practice of state cultural policy of the Russian Federation is beginning to correspond more and more to the concept of conservative realism, the very first steps to implement such an approach have caused a sharp reaction from the «think tanks» of unfriendly states.
