The article presents the results of the age dynamics of the functional parameters of the cardiorespiratory systems in 1693 boys and 1757 girls aged 7-17 of the city of Gomel who were examined over 2010-2012. It has been found that the intensity of the growth rates of the examined parameters in the city schoolchildren depends on their somatotype. The maximum physiological increase of the level of systolic arterial pressure was revealed in mezosomic boys and girls the earliest, and the values of diastolic arterial pressure - in the examined hypersomic children of both the sex groups. The maximum physiological decrease of the heart rate was detected in leptosomic girls and hypersomic boys the earliest. The maximum earliest growth of the parameters characterizing the state of the respiratory system was revealed in mezo- and hypersomic boys and girls. The sex dimorphism of the parameters of external breath in the examined children with all the somatotypes during the process of ontogenesis gradually increases for boys at the expense of their higher rates of growth of the parameters at puberty (especially among mezosomic peers).
