Constitutional-legal status of subjects of the Russian Federation

This article discusses the fundamental foundations of building such a form of government as a Federation. For a better understanding of the topic of the article, the main characteristics and classification of the subjects of the Federation, as well as their constitutional and legal status, were considered. Each subject of the Russian Federation has its own territory, the borders of which are fixed in the Constitution (Charter) of a particular subject, which ensures the sovereignty and state integrity of our country.
