Constitutional legal awareness in the system of measures to ensure the unity, stability and state security of the Russian Federation against external and internal threats

The article is devoted to the issue of a high potential for constitutional legal awareness in the process of ensuring state security, integrity and stability of the Russian Federation. The author assigns the prevailing importance of the constitutional legal awareness, among other measures to ensure the state security of the Russian State. The author considers the global crisis of the supremacy of law, international organized crime, attempts to undermine the constitutional system, terrorism, and extremism to be among the external threats that have a destructive influence on the state security of the Russian Federation. Internal threats of state security create gaps, collisions and defects in the national legal system.The author discusses the necessity to reform the Constitution of the Russian Federation, and its possible consequences from the point of view of ensuring state security. The author proves the necessity of a qualitative increase for the level of national constitutional legal awareness as a powerful factor to ensure state security.
