The constitutional foundations of children's rights in Russia: problematic aspects of regulation

Introduction: the scientific interest in the study of the peculiarities of the constitutional foundations of the rights of the child in Russia is predetermined by the debatable understanding of the essence of the constitutional rights of children, the legal and technical nature of their presentation, the issues of interpretation and application of the relevant rules. Methods: the methodological framework for the study having a complex character is a set of scientific methods, among which the main ones are the general scientific dialectical, comparative-historical, logical- syntactic, semantic methods of cognition and the methods of causal analysis, prediction, synthesis and analysis. Results: the study identified the features and main problematic aspects of regulating the constitutional rights of the child in Russia, and analyzed the specifics of their implementation. The paper substantiates the conclusions about the need to improve the constitutional regulation of children’s rights in Russia, including the adoption of a specialized Federal law on the rights of the child, aimed at the consistent development of the “constitutional block” of the considered norms.
