Designing the content of teacher education based on professional objectives

The article proposes a way to design the content of teacher education at university. It is based on the idea of specifying professional objectives defined by characteristics of graduates’ professional activity in accordance with the Federal State Educational Standards of higher education by means of the content of the professional activity of the teacher’s professional standard and the definition of the level of their implementation. According to the authors, the proposed way makes it possible to carry out a detailed specification of the theoretical-methodological, psychologicalpedagogical, practical and socio-cultural training of students majored in Teacher Education.
