Content analysis of welding terms in dictionary of the XIX century

Welding, as a technological process of creating permanent joints, has been known since ancient times. Many modern types of welding began to develop after the discovery in 1802 Vasyli Petrov the possibility of welding metals with an electric arc. Eight dictionaries of the XIX century contain definitions of welding terms: welding, welding, weldability, welder, etc. A significant change in modern definitions of welding terms compared to the definitions given in the dictionaries of the nineteenth century.
