Control and supervision of bodies and officers of local government

The article is devoted to the problems of control and supervision over the activities of local self-government bodies. The author considers the powers of state bodies exercising control over the activities of municipal authorities. It also provides an assessment of the scope of control and supervision over the activities of local governments by citizens living in the territory of the municipality. The problems of theoretical development of this topic in the works of domestic lawyers are identified.
