Control of defects in the manufacturing of engineering products

The aim of the work is to develop an automated system of control of geometric characteristics of the part type “cylinder head” with the use of nondestructive testing methods. To achieve this goal, the paper describes the methods of diagnostics of defects of mechanical engineering products, presents the structural scheme of the modernized control and measuring system, substantiates the choice of measuring equipment, develops the methodology of measurements, performs an accuracy analysis of the measuring system, describes the procedures for verification and calibration of measuring equipment.
